Another EURegion talk that will address Port of Vigo’s Blue Growth Strategy, launched in 2016 after struggling to identify all the stakeholders of the maritime port sector. First Summit on the future of autonomous mobility
Coinciding with the European Week of Regions and Cities, a major meeting on autonomous mobility will be held on 9 October, representing industry, Community institutions and regional authorities, organised by the Future of the Automotive Industry (CoRAI) of the European Committee of the Regions (CoR), of which Galicia is a member.
CoRAI believes that self-driving will represent a real change in the current context, with mobility being a basic and much needed need in an ageing European society. This summit will therefore invite those responsible for leading European mobility projects to share their experiences and make recommendations to European regional and local representatives and technicians. The CoRAI seminar will consist of three different parts: a technical panel with representatives of the mobility sector for the exhibition of new projects and ongoing projects; an exhibition of the projects themselves in situ and a political debate on autonomous mobility at local level in which the Xunta de Galicia will participate. Click on this link to register for the seminar.
The
Galician Automotive Technology Centre (CTAG) will participate in the panel and in the project exhibition with the official presentation of the SISCOGA project, a test runner whose main objective is to start up projects related to autonomous and connected driving. This Galician project is developed within the framework of the 5GMOBIX project of the European program H2020.
