Fundación Galicia Europa organises a conference about the Services Directive in the Pontevedra Chamber of Commerce

Pontevedra, 24 September 2010. - Fundación Galicia Europa, in collaboration with the Pontevedra Chamber of Commerce, organized a conference about the implementation of Services Directive. This implementation implies a new way of making business, less bureaucratic and more competitive.

Both the Secretary-General of the Pontevedra Chamber of Commerce and the Deputy Director of the Galician Government for Relations with the European Union took part in this event.

The Directive was thoroughly explained by Manuel Blanco, Deputy Director of Analysis and Planning, who explained the effects that the Services Directive have on the Galician business sector. This conference is part of a series of conferences that have been organized by Fundación Galicia Europa in partnership with the Galician Chambers of Commerce, with the objective of informing the Galician SMES about the opportunities that European regulations can provide, especially during the present financial situation.
