Galicia will host the European conference on fisheries and aquaculture

Just after the closing of the European Commission’s consultation on the Green Paper on a reform of the Common Fisheries Policy, this meeting will add some more reflections to the debate over the future of this policy.

The seminar will count on the participation of the President of the Committee of the Regions, Luc Van den Brande, together with the President of the Xunta de Galicia, Alberto Núñez Feijóo. There will also be an active participation of the EESC members and other local stakeholders and industry representatives from business and universities.

This seminar has been organised by the Xunta de Galicia, the Committee of the Regions and European Economic and Social Committee (EESC), with the support of the Fundación Galicia Europa.
